

The more filled in that meter is, the more likely you will be attacked. That's your scent, and it only is displayed when you're carrying food that might attract predators (raw meat, fresh guts, etc.). You might get a flame-looking icon at the top sometimes. It also goes down if you're hurt (attacked, have an affliction, possibly fall damage?) but that probably goes without saying. It will go down after one of the meters reaches 0, so your meters are a buffer and not your actual health. I assume you don't need direction on how to refill meters.ĪDDED: Your condition (health) is in the lower left. Everything else goes down at a relatively stable rate when you're not running or doing tiring tasks.

Warmth decreases when the "feels like" temp is below 0 C. You have your meters at the bottom: warmth, restfulness, thirst, and hunger. It may be best to ask specific questions, or look up spoiler-free guides, but I can describe the basics. There's no tutorial or anything, so learning the UI is basically trial and error. Hinterland likes making people figure stuff out.
